Bore Place Organic Market Garden

Metske Van Der Laan, based near Chiddingstone in Kent, has been supplying us with amazing produce for many years. We have a long standing relationship and compare crop plans each year to ensure our customers have the maximum range and supply of seasonal goods. For example, Metske usually provides our Crown Prince squash while we concentrate on Kabocha and other varieties. This guarantees him a buyer and frees up precious field space for us. We are always happy to see his van arrive on a Tuesday and his lettuces are renowned for their size and beauty.

Boathouse Farm

Crispin Tebbutt has been supplying us with potatoes from just up the road in Isfield since we started. He grows a crop of new potatoes which are usually available in June and July and main crop potatoes from August. Both are second to none and we love that they are so truly local!

Oakwood farm

Oakwood Farm is one of only a few organic orchards in the Sussex High Weald. Owned by Matthew and Carol Wilson, the farm has been certified since 1999 and supplies us with a wide range of delicious apples for two thirds of the year, as well as bottles of wine-glass worthy juice.
Matthew is an absolute expert at what he does and grows classics like Cox and Egremont Russet to the lesser known Cornish Gillyflower and Fiesta. As more and more UK orchards close and varieties get harder and harder to find, our appreciation of this Sussex goldmine only deepens.

Watson & Pratts

Watson & Pratt's is a small wholesaler representing and marketing fruit and vegetables from a wide range of growers throughout the UK and Europe. Working with small neighbourhood shops and large box schemes, we aim to establish long-term relationships promoting and sustaining organic horticulture.

Orchard Eggs

Daniel and Karen Hoeberichts of Orchard Eggs go beyond the required organic standard, treating their birds and the land with the utmost respect. Their chickens roam freely throughout sixty acres of biodynamic orchard and they have started rearing chicks themselves, allowing them to control the birds’ whole life cycle and ensuring their health and vitality at all times.

We are proud that every single half-dozen carton of eggs we deliver comes from a supplier who puts animal welfare first and we are pleased that this approach is made very clear by their excellent flavour too.

Cherry Gardens Farm

Situated on the Kent and East Sussex border near Groombridge, Jonathan Wellman grows a wide range of organic vegetables, and shares our dedicated approach. Like Metske’s produce, we know just as much effort and care goes into the leeks and celeriac we get from him, as the ones we’ve grown ourselves, so if our own stock of something is running low, we can rest easy and happily support another small business as well as prevent our customers missing out.

They source from organic growers around Europe and always deliver the best blood oranges, leafy clementines and irreplaceable Sevilles when in season, as well as fragrant apricots and nectarines, not to mention buttery Spanish avocados!
