This is a really tasty side dish with the sweet and salty flavours of honey and miso complimenting the slight bitterness of turnips. Great with some steamed rice and salad, or even with your Sunday roast!

Ingredients: 

1 bunch of Turnips (Leaves removed, but don’t waste them!)

1 tbsp Miso paste

2 tbsp Honey

1 tbsp Sunflower oil

1 tbsp Water

Method: 

Step 1.

Pre heat your oven to 200c. In a bowl mix together the Miso, Honey, Oil and water. Mix well until completely smooth. Peel and cut the turnips into equal sized wedges, add them to the bowl and mix well so the turnips are covered in the glaze. Place on a baking tray or skillet and roast in the oven for around 40 mins (Give them a turn half way through cooking) and serve!
